Let's get ready

Dearest Family & Friends,
 

We know many of you are excited to begin planning your outfits, and we want to make the

process as easy as possible. First, please know that Indian attire is optional for all events, we

encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel your best!

 

The wedding will include six events, and this guide will help you understand what to wear to

each, as well as where to find Indian clothing. If you need any direction or assistance, our team

Haldi

For the Haldi, we recommend Indian or Western yellow attire. This event will take place outdoors after check-in, so we suggest lighter fabrics, as the weather will be warm. We encourage all guests to wear the color yellow.

Women - If you would like to wear Indian attire, we recommend a light lehenga or salwar kameez. Alternatively, a yellow sundress or linen outfit will be perfectly acceptable.

Men - If you would like to wear Indian attire, we recommend a yellow kurta with linen pants. Alternatively, a yellow linen button-down shirt will be perfectly acceptable.

Welcome Dinner

For the Welcome Dinner, we recommend wearing cocktail attire to our rooftop welcome dinner.

 

Women - If you are looking to wear indian attire we recommend wearing a light and fun lengha, salwar kameez, or an indo-western dress. If you are looking to wear western attire, wear a fabulous and fun dress that you can dance in!

 

Men - We recommend wearing a button down, linen shirt, blazer or sports jacket.

Lagna & Nikah

For the Lagna and Nikah, we recommend wearing Indian attire to these two wedding ceremony. Lighter fabrics are encouraged as these events will take place outdoors on Friday and Saturday morning.

 

Women - we recommend a sari or lengha; you can also purchase pre-draped saris for ease. We will have a team to assist you in draping and getting into your sari.

 

Men - We recommend wearing kurtha on linen pants. Or a sherwani on linen pants.

Mehendi

We recommend wearing indian attire to this evening event. It will be a colorful celebration, wear your most fun outfit.

 

Women - we recommend a lengha with bright colors, sparkles this will be a colorful night of dancing. Wear something you are comfortable sitting down in while you get your henna

Men - We recommend wearing a bold colored kurtha on linen pants. You can also wear a colorful linen shirt or button down shirt paired with a light suit jacket.

Reception

We recommend black tie attire for the vow ceremony and reception on the last night. Think gowns and tuxes / suits that you can dance all night in.
